Her love for the area compelled her to move her family to St. George after completing her degree at Weber State University.\n \nJana was employed by Dixie State College in 2002, at the Business Resource Center, formerly known as the Dixie Business Alliance. After having her second child, she returned as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Site Select Plus, formerly Washington County Economic Development Council. She has worked for Site Select Plus for twelve years and has assisted in bringing companies to town such as Viracon, Litehouse Inc, and Family Dollar Distribution Center just to name a few.\n \nAs the Business Expansion and Retention Director, she assisted business such as Helidyne Power, Environmental StoneWorks, Berry’s Manufacturing, and Wilson Electronics with their expansions adding many jobs and increasing tax revenue for Washington County.\n \nShe serves on the planning committee and is the Logistics Coordinator for the What’s Up Down South Economic Summit, the largest business gathering in Washington County, held annually in January.\n \nJana is currently the Assistant Director of Site Select Plus and continues to assist with the recruitment, expansion, and retention of primary industries which keeps our local economy robust. \n \n\n\n\n
