DESCRIPTION:\nFor decades, many estate planning strategies remained standard and stagnant.  Because of this, estate planners have to be careful not to fall asleep at the wheel and continue to base advice and forms on outdated strategies.  With the introduction of portability and a historically high estate and gift tax exemption in 2012, estate tax minimization has become less important for many clients, and income tax minimization is one of the new opportunities to provide value to our clients.  This presentation will include a discussion on how old strategies and forms may actually harm clients, and will focus on new, innovative solutions to minimize not only estate and gift taxes, but income taxes as well.\n
